Arnaud Saint-Paul is responsible for business management, product definition, business development and marketing in his role as CEO of smartsy, an Engagement Marketing Platform that connects brands and retailers with consumers through real world objects, packaging and print ads. Prior to founding smartsy, Saint-Paul served as CEO/CTO and Founder of Equod, the 1st platform for European online retail logistics. The company's solution allowed online retailers to seamlessly integrate and optimize their supply chain end-to-end in real time with express carriers for their logistics needs. It received an award as "Best Startup" by prominent popular European business magazine, Les Echos. Prior to Equod, he founded and managed Easyviz, the former top Spanish online prescription eye glasses website. Easyviz was identified as "Best Idea 2008" by leading Spanish magazine, El Economista. In his early professional years, Saint-Paul worked as a successful trader in the financial market. He is a pioneer in using Virtual Currency for trading. He traded a fund with 70% profits in his 1st year and over 350% profits the 2nd year. In addition, Saint-Paul managed more than $2B in project financing for clients worldwide. Saint-Paul was the President of the Centro Re-Crear, a nonprofit focused on helping people enhance their health and well-being based in Madrid, Spain. He grew it to national prominence and was a featured international speaker for the company.
